From Farm Life to Fused Glass
I grew up on a farm, and glass has always been part of my story — it started with collecting old glass insulators. There was something about the way light moved through those weathered pieces that stuck with me, and I never stopped looking for it.
Today my life is wonderfully full. I'm married to a great man who supports my glass journey every step of the way, I'm a mom to four boys, and a grandma to eleven. Family is my foundation — and my biggest fans.
I also work full time in IT, and fused glass is my escape from the stress of the workday. In the studio, I design, cut, and layer every piece by hand, then let the kiln work its magic — heat turns my careful plans into flowing, luminous art. No two pieces are ever the same, and opening that kiln never stops feeling like a surprise party.
